Until recently, this was the only known full size replica. Created by White House and now owned by Manga Entertainment. It was contracted by Streamline Pictures/ Kodansha/ AKIRA Committee, as a promotional item for the film's opening in 1988. I doesn't run and there is debate as to whether or not the steering works. The photo to the left is the craftsmanship of Chris Hayes. "I constructed and photographed a third scale replica bike from the cult animation "AKIRA". Its purpose was to be used in the theoretical promotion campaign of "AKIRA" the CD Rom game. After course completion I will be obtaining work as a professional Model Maker/Designer in all areas of the field.
